Stefan Künne farm is a farm based in Eggersmühlen, Germany. The farm produces cereals, oilseed rape, corn, potatoes (110ha) and Christmas trees (35ha) on a total of 240ha. The company also has 630 places for breeding pigs with 2800 raising places and 3160 places for pigs. The company is one of the biggest potato producers in Westfalen and has a significant animal production. The farm is challenged when it comes to fertilization and best animal waste use.
ROLE WITHIN THE PROJECT: Stefan Künne will test variable rate application and variable rate irrigation in potatoes. He will also look into new technologies to track pig aggressivity and behaviour to improve his animal production operations. He is also using several precision farming tools and will look into their connectivity and give feedback to ATLAS on this tests
